These handmade pottery mixing/serving bowls do double duty and are sturdy and so versatile they'll become one of your favorite kitchen essentials. These hand thrown ceramic mixing bowls have smooth, thick walls and are sealed with our custom glazes for an easy clean finish. These handcrafted stoneware bowls can be warmed in the oven to keep breads warm and or chilled in the fridge to keep your salads crisp and wash up nicely in the dishwasher. This bowl has become our family mashed potato bowl and graces our holiday table.

Our Story: Barry began his art career working for various pottery studios in California. His functional artwork was sold to numerous galleries and stores. In 1980 he began his own adventure, with his wife Terri and two daughters, and they opened Crutchfield Pottery. Taking most of their work to art shows around the country they built Crutchfield Pottery's solid reputation; winning numerous artist & product awards as well as producing a personal dinnerware set for Steven Spielberg. For over 40 years Crutchfield Pottery has provided beautiful-handmade functional and decorative pottery to homes around the country.
