Handmade pottery covered butter dish can be left on counter, so your butter is soft and spreadable, or refrigerated. Will hold two cubes, 1/2-pound square, or 2 cups of whipped butter so it works well for buffets and meals. This handmade ceramic butter dish with a lid is versatile and can be used for storing tea bags or serving butter, sauces, or jam on the table, or left by the toaster for your morning bagels and muffins. Handcrafted and glazed with our custom glazes they can put in the dishwasher for easy clean up.

Our Story: Barry began his art career working for various pottery studios in California. His functional artwork was sold to numerous galleries and stores. In 1980 he began his own adventure, with his wife Terri and two daughters, and they opened Crutchfield Pottery. Taking most of their work to art shows around the country they built Crutchfield Pottery's solid reputation; winning numerous artist & product awards as well as producing a personal handcrafted dinnerware set for Steven Spielberg.
